Q. What are expired DMOZ domains?

A. Expired DMOZ domains are simply domains that have expired and were previously listed in the DMOZ Directory. Why is this significant? The DMOZ directory is 100% human created. That means that large search engines use this directory for search purposes. Getting listed in DMOZ not only gets you FREE listings in many of the largest search engines, but also gets free listings within tens of thousands of smaller search engines that use DMOZ's backend as well. Its also very hard to get into the DMOZ directory because man of the editors are crooked and will not allow other sites into their personal directory out of fear of competition.
